  • Romain lettuce

  • Ground beef

  • Olive oil

  • Soy sauce

  • Garlic

Making The Lettuce Wraps

  • Rinse 6-8 romaine leaves and pat dry; set aside

  • Shred carrots, slice green onions, and roughly chop peanuts; set aside

  • Heat up the olive oil in a frying pan on medium-high heat

  • Add the ground beef and cook until there’s no pink, about 5-7 minutes

  • Discard any access oil

  • Next, add the sesame oil and cook until garlic is fragrant, about 2 minutes

  • Stir in the hoisin and soy sauce and ginger until combined

Assembling The Lettuce Wraps

  • Arrange the romaine leaves out on a cutting board or clean surface

  • Scoop beef mixture in romaine leaves

  • Top with carrots, chopped peanuts, green onions, and sesame seeds, if desired and enjoy!

  • Prefer some added crunch? Water chestnuts can also be a good addition to the beef mixture – just add them in at the end so they maintain their crunch!

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 tbsp. sesame oil
  • 1/4 c. hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbsp. minced garlic

  • 16 romaine lettuce leaves

  • 1/2 c. chopped peanuts
  • 1 bunch green onion, sliced
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish
